April

Well April is about finished and I had a busy month. Last week I had 2 - 20 pc orders. The first one was for my black sheep holder. The really neat part is they are going to the wives of the ORIGINAL black sheep squadron in Yuma, AZ.





Then I had a really neat gal buy 20 double sided holders from me. 10 were my footprint design with her business name and logo on the back. The other 10 were of her logo on the front with her business name on the back.

Now I'm working on a custom baby quilt for another great etsian. I did a partial trade for some jewelry for my MIL, but I'm having fun making this quilt for her. Here are the pictures so far of what I've done.

Black Sheep

Well I finished embroidering my Black Sheep double sided order and I'm happy with the way they turned out. I've always kind of considered myself the "black sheep" of the family so this little guy stands for so much more than just being cute. This order had special meaning in another way though. Its going to military wives whose husbands are The Black Sheep company. I have to admit these military wives have more strength than I do. I'm not sure I could deal with my husband being gone that long and in danger every day of their life while they are serving our country. Whether we agree with this war or not we still need to support our troups. My heart and prayers are with all who are serving in this war and the families that are home waiting for their safe return.

I guess you could say I'm a craftholic.. lol. I love all kinds of crafts, but right now I'm addicted to my embroidery machine and love making new items with it. I also do crochet and made baby blankets for all my sons and working on blankets for my grandsons now, but I'm kind of slow on getting those done.
